|Christine Gillis Khalil was born in Boston, Massachusetts and studied at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA and also with Virginia Chase Earle, one of Boston's finest portrait artists, as well as Susan Leury, sculptor of bronze monumental public art and limited edition fine art sculpture.|
|Her sculptures and paintings are in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S., Canada and South America, and can be found in the homes of many prominent horse breeders and art connoiseurs. Christine has exhibited her work at the Arabian U.S. and Canadian Nationals, Scottsdale and regional shows, as well as having had work selected for juried exhibits and inclusion in the Daffodil Art Auction in Washington. She is best known for her bronze portrait "Smooth Elegance" of Five Star syndicated stallion, IVANHOE TSULTAN, commissioned by Rohara Arabians and The Tsultan Syndicate, and which is on display at the Rohara Arabian farm; as for the bronze "First Touch", which celebrates the bonding of mare and newly-birthed foal. She has done numerous commissioned portraits pieces in both bronze and other media, including two bronze commissions for Ms. Laurie McRee of Jackson, Mississippi of her two prized show hunters, "Michigan Avenue" and "Valor".|
